Daha önce de bahsettiğim gibi Reebok’ın Fly Girl’ü seçilmemin ardından Cosmopolitan benimle Ağustos sayısı için röportaj yapmıştı. Dergiyi görmemiş olanlar için röportajı burada yayınlıyorum. Fotoğrafların üzerine tıklayıp yazıları büyütebilirsiniz. Bunun dışında başka bir haberse yine Reebok’la ilgili. 17′si haftası, seçilen tüm Fly Girl’lerle beraber Londra’da Vice Dergisi için bir çekime daha katılacağım. I decided to go there whenever I have the time. Than after one of my shootings I was walking home and changed my way a little to go to that shop. When I got in, I knew that I was in a fairytale cause I was surrounded by Anna Sui’s and Chloé’s. After checking all those beauties I asked the beautiful shop owner Gaye (it means purpose in Turkish), if I can blog about this store. She kindly accepted my wish and told me to come after the new arrivals which was this week. I grabbed M’s (you know him) arm and we started to take pics of those amazing dresses. Here are the ones that I cherry picked for you.
Bulduğum ilk zamanda oraya gitmeyi aklıma koymuştum. Bir çekimden sonra eve doğru yürürken yolumu biraz değiştirdim ve içeri girdiğimde bir peri masalında olduğumu düşündüm çünkü etrafım Anna Sui ve Chloé lerle çevrilmişti. Bütün askıları tek tek inceledikten sonra bu mağaza hakkında bir yazı hazırlamam gerektiğini anladım ve mağaza sahibi Gaye Hanım’dan çekim için izin istedim. Kendisi isteğimi oldukça samimi bir şekilde kabul etti ve yeni ürünler geldiğinde benim de gelip çekim yapabileceğimi söyledi. Ben de bu hafta yeni ürünlerle beraber M’yi (artık kim olduğunu biliyorsunuz) kolundan tutup mağazaya götürdüm ve o müthiş elbiselerin fotoğraflarını çekmeye koyulduk. Brands for Less is a 8 month old store where you can buy selected brands for suitable prices. Every piece in the store is being select by the shop owner’s own hands. Her actual major is banking but she says that she always had something for fashion, her mother was a designer and they used to have all of the famous artists and models at their home when she was a child. So she has grown up in a house full of fashion and you can tell from her own style as well. It is obvious that she’s doing her dream job cause she is so nice, welcoming and helpful. She serves you like you’re at her home and you are a guest that she likes to have. You don’t feel the uncomfortable pressure of being at a store that you should buy something. You’re just sharing her love of fashion when you’re in her store. The prices of the clothes changes from $60 to $190 and I think it’s pretty suitable for a Chanel dress! Also there are Chanel and Juicy accessoires in the store which are sold for $20 to $30. I mean isn’t it heaven or what? The decoration of the store is also very pretty. Brands for Less, seçkin markaların kıyafetlerini uygun fiyatlara sunan, henüz 8 aylık olmasına rağmen Türkiye’nin her yerinden müşterisi olan bir mağaza. Kıyafetlerin her biri mağaza sahibi Gaye Hanım’ın kendi elleriyle tek tek seçiliyor ve her üründen en fazla 2 tane getirtiliyor. Asıl mesleği bankacılık olan Gaye Yılmaz, modaya karşı her zaman bir tutkusu olduğunu söylüyor. Annesi bir tasarımcı olduğundan dolayı, çocukluğu zamanın ünlü sanatçı ve modellerinin evlerine konuk olmasıyla geçmiş. Yani tam anlamıyla modanın içinde büyümüş ve bu da hem kendi tarzına hem de dükkanındaki güzel ürünlere yansımış. Hayalindeki işi yaptığı o kadar belli ki sizi son derece sıcak, samimi ve yardımsever bir şekilde ağırlıyor mağazasında. Sanki bir müşteri değil de evine konuk olmuş bir misafir gibi hissediyorsunuz. Üzerinizde bir şey alma baskısı hissetmeden gezebiliyorsunuz dükkanı. Yani orada bulunduğunuz anı onun moda tutkusunu paylaşarak geçiriyorsunuz kısaca. Gelelim fiyatlara, elbiseler 100 liradan 300 liraya değişebiliyor nakit ve kredi kartı seçenekleri de sunulmuş durumda. Yani bir Chanel elbise için uygundan da öte bir fiyat sanırım. Evet şuan bir cennetten bahsediyorum sevgili bayanlar. Mağazada ayrıca Chanel in ve Juicy Couture un aksesuarları da mevcut onları da 30 liradan 50 liraya kadar satın almak mümkün. Ama siz yine de emin olmak için dükkanı bir ziyaret edin ben büyülenmiş olmaktan ötürü fiyatlara pek bakamadım açıkçası :) Ayrıca mağazanın dekorasyonu da ayrı bir güzel. Şimdi sizleri mağazanın içinden bir kaç görüntüyle başbaşa bırakıyorum.

1-Can you tell us about yourself?I am Bogac Dalkiran. I’ve born in Ankara. I’ve spent my childhood with painting, scaring people, climbing everywhere and playing Commodore 64. Boulderdash was my favorite. I never saw a game like it later on. I’ve gratuated from Yukselis High School. I was playing basketball instead of studying. I don’t remember anything what they taught at school. The only thing that I remember is an IQ test. I’ve scored very low at math and social parts but the imagination part was extending over the chart. I was happy about it but I was going to found out what that means by the years go by. After the high school I won Bilkent Interior Decoration and Environment Design. I failed in my first year but then I woke up. They used to call me maniac, psychopath etc. at school. My projects were interesting. Then I graduated and went for the military duty. They called me lead soldier. I’ve got a few appreciation. :) I was having doubts about doing interior design. I needed to do something else. I did interior design for a while till I found out what I wanted to do. Then someday a very bad thing happened. My beloved girlfriend left me. It was an unbearable pain for me. An antidote was needed. That’s how I start photography. I started to take my own pictures. There weren’t anyone else to shoot. My photos started to took attention. I was glad. The next part of the story is long and interesting. I’m not going to tell. In conclusion I moved to Istanbul and started to take fashion, advertising and interview photographs with my partner Semih Kanmaz.
